Life Philosophy初稿

In the picture, a fatty father is sitting in a chair in the office and there is a cigarette in his mouth. The father is hol ding a seal as if he is about to affix a seal on a document, and there are a l ot of money near the desk. He is saying to his son:”Son, of course there is more to life than just money—it’s power.”There is an arrogant expression on his face, while his son is at a loss.

From the picture, we can know that the father’s life philosophy is that only the power and money are important in the life, and the power is more important than money. I don’t agree with his philosophy. I think that life composed by a l ot of things, such as family, happiness, love, achievement, and so on. Although the money is indispensable in our lives and power can leads an easier life, they are not the most important things in life. Imagine that if you already have much money and great power, but there is no true friends on your side, there is no wife and chil dren who waiting for you to come home, and there is no parents you can respect. Woul d you think life is happy? For me, I would not think so.

Everyone has his own values and everyone’s values maybe different from others. I believe that in addition to money and power, there are more important things in their mind for most people. And these things cannot be exchanged with money and power.
