How to learn English?

You say you cantdo listening very well. I think you can listen to some English songs and watchsome English films. This maybe helps. And if you feel shy when you speakEnglish, what about speaking in class and pronouncing the words loudlyeveryday? Whats more, it is natural to forget new words quickly. Dont worry. Whynot write four of five words a day and try to use them when you see them, andit is a good idea to find a pen friend and write to him or her. I hope you canstudy English better.

My home town

I was born in Tianjin, a beautiful city, in the north of China. Its a big city with a population ofover 10 million and a long history. It is especially well known for itsdelicious food and wonderful scenery. If you come to my home town, you canvisit many places of interest, such as Tianjin TV Tower and Tianjin Eye. Theyare popular for holidays. The weather in Tianjin is better than that in manyother cities in China. It is never very hot in summer or cold in winter. I hopeyou can come here one day and I am sure youll enjoy yourself in my home town.

Sports

Football, my favourite sport, is akind of exciting ball games. This year I am in the school team. Today is Sundayand on this afternoon the school team is going to train because we will playagainst another school team next weekend. The practice starts at 1:00 PM .Weusually get school earlier so that we have enough time to change clothes andwarm up. Last year, we beat the all the teams so this year we train quite hardand want to succeed again. The coach is pleased with us because we play betterthan before. And I think practice makes perfect so that means we have a betterchance of winning.

My favourite book

My favourite bookis Cat Warriors猫，a famous bookin English. It is one of Hunter Ellyns most famous story books.

The story is aboutthe life of some cat warriors and it takes place in the wild forests a fewhundred years ago. Like people, the cat warriors are brave and loyal and theydo many interesting things to protect themselves from different kinds ofdanger.

My parents boughtme the book as a birthday gift when I was twelve. I enjoy reading this bookvery much, and I suggest that you read it some day because I am sure you can learnsomething helpful in the book.

Animals in danger

1. Manchurian tigers

Manchurian tigerslive in the forests in the northeast of China. Usually they catch many othersmall animals for food. But now they are in danger and the situation is evengetting much more difficult. Because people are cutting trees down to buildhouses. That means tigers will lose their home.

Apart from that, tigers do not have many babies. Whats more, thelittle tigers often die. So I think we can raise money at school and ask ourfamily to love the animals in danger in order to protect them. If we do inthese ways, Manchurian tigers will live longer.

2. Pandas

My favoriteanimals are pandas, they live in Southwest China. In fact, they eat everything,but their favorite food is bamboo and leaves. They are very cute andinteresting.

However, they arein danger now. The first reason is pandas do not have many babies, and babypanders often die. Second, each panda needs to eat a lot of bamboo every day.But the bamboo forests are getting smaller, that means pandas dont have enoughfood to eat, so the situation is even worse.

All in all, I think protecting the environment and raisingmoney are useful ways to protect rare wild animals, like pandas, tigers andelephants.
