地图题要求考生们进一步提高细节把控力。

地图题虽然保持了变迁类题目的出题模式，但是由于建成后的变化“天翻地覆”，

涉及细节众多且比较繁复，使得这一回合“找不同”的游戏玩得有些心塞。

这就建议同学们不能自乱阵脚，找准描述的顺序，步步推移，保证宏观把控与细节描述的兼顾统一。

TIPS：

为应对数据类及示意类图表考察形式的变化，建议大家在备考时要注重提高图表内容的分析归纳能力，以保证内容与逻辑这两项评分。另外，除去记忆小作文专属高频表达，真正踏实积累，提高语言能力才是应对题目不断出新的良方。

Map Diagram 地图题的写作技巧

地图题分两种，一种为地理变迁题，一种为选址题。首先我们来看地理变迁题，它描述的是一个地方（多为一个城镇）在一段时间的发展变化。

一、时态

如果地图题反映的是一个地方在过去的一段时间的变化，文章用一般过去时。如果地图题反映的是一个地方在将来一段时间的变化趋势，文章用一般将来时或表“估计”的词汇。如果地图题反映的是一个地方从过去到现在的变化，可用现完成时。如：现在停车场改成了一个剧院。

The car park has been removed and replaced by a theatre.

城镇A的家庭数量从1937年到2020年将翻一番。

The number of homes in Town A is likely to double.

还可以是：

It is likely that the number of homes in Town A will double.

二、细节变化

1.地图每个细节变化都要提到，不要忽视一个细节，如地图题用被动语态可以是：

2000年在城镇A新建了一个医院：A new hospital was established in Town A in 2000.

2.地图题的书写顺序：时间顺序和空间顺序，如2006年9月A 类TASK 1：

The map shows the development of the village of Kelsbey between 1780 and 2000.

这篇文章大体框架按时间顺序：1780年村庄，1860村庄，2000年村庄。对每一年的描述，如1780年村庄，我们要注意按方位顺序来描述，否则文章会出现混乱。这就需要考生在考前对方位词进行总结。地图题的方位我们说东西南北，不说成左右，如：

A 在B 的东方/西方/南方/北方。

A is/ lies/ is located/ is situated in/on / to the east/west/south/north of B

A 在B 内部的某个部位。

A is in the eastern/ southern/ western/ northern part of B.

A在B 西北部的120 千米处。

A lies 120 km to the northwest of B.

A 在B…..角落。

A is at/in the south eastern corner of B

在河流或道路的南边/北边等。

On the south/southern side of the river

On both sides of the road

On the other side

临近马路的地区。

The area adjacent to/ near /next to/ just off the road

三、“变化”词汇

地图题描述的是一个地区的变化，那么“变化”词汇必须过关。一般变化包括两种：图形原有事物的改变，图形新添事物。先看图形原有事物的改变，如：

原有事物可说成：

The original/previous/former garden

原有事物尺寸上变大/变小。

The size of the library has been enlarged/extended/halved/reduced by half

原有事物没了。

The farms completely disappeared/were removed.

写作题目：

The plans below show a pubic park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

这是一道地点变迁类地图题，需要分析同一个公园在不同的时间1920年和现在的整体布局变化。地点变迁类地图题的整体写作顺序为第一张地图按照图片内容完整描述，从第二张图片开始重点描述图片之间的差异，即变化了的布局，没有发生变化的内容无需重点呈现。在这道题目中，整体分析顺序为自西向东图片从左往右，在大方向一致的前提下，需要关注1920年公园的西边左边为环状布局，音乐家演出台被四周的观众坐席和玫瑰花园环绕。中部的同样为对称布局，喷泉的北边和南边是对应的两个入口。公园现在的布局中，类似的对称结构也可以在中部观察到，玫瑰花园四周被座位环绕，北边和南边的入口不变。

The maps show changes in the layout of the Grange Park, which stands between the Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street in 1920 and today.

It is clear that the layout of the Grange Park has been rearranged，which could provide more convenient for people.There are several changs that has taken place in Grange Park.

In 1920, a stage for musicians could be observed in the center of the western area, with two rose gardens built to its north and south respectively. There were both two seats areas facilitated on each side of the two rose gardens, surrounding the stage altogether. In the middle of the park, a fountain could be found, while two entrances on the Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street located to the north and south of the fountain. In the eastern area, another rose garden stood next to the entrance on the Arnold Avenue, opposing to a Glasshouse in the south. There was a pond for water plants standing in the northeastern corner of the park, next to which another seats area was founded.

At present, several changes have taken place. The stage for musician is transformed into an amphitheater for concerts, while four seats areas and the rose garden in the south are all moved to the center of the park, with four seats areas surrounding the garden. Another rose garden at the east of the entrance is changed into a café, while the pond for water plants is transformed into a children’s play area. A water feature area replaces the glasshouse in the southern direction. What is more, an entrance to the underground car park is established on the original site of seats next to the pond.
