Yesterday, my mother told me that we were goingto visit my grandparents, I was so happy to hear that. I was raisedby my grandparents most of the time until I was at the age of 7,since my parents are busy with their work. Ihaven’tseen grandparents for half a year, I have to attend the class. I live in a city, since I was small, I witnessed all the thingshappened in this city. Now, in my eyes, after so many years, thecity has changed so much. First, the transportation has becomefluent. Many years ago, there were less bus stations, people alwaysneeded to changed their lines by many cars. But now, almost all theplaces can be reached by bus, people don’tneed to change the line. Second, the buildings are enlarging, thisreflects the city’seconomy develops fast. Indeed, I can go to many newly built publicplaces to have fun, some are for children, some are for the old,all of these are good for people’scommunication. I am a middle school student. Though Im busy with my lessons, myspare time is still colorful.

After school I usually play sports. I like basketball and footballvery much. Sports help me to keep healthy and study better. I oftendo some reading in the evening. I think books are our best friends.They give us much knowledge that we cant learn at school. Soreading books is the best way of spending my spare time.

Sometimes I watch TV or surf the Internet. I find its a good wayto relax myself. At the same time it can also help me open up myeyes to the outside world. At the weekends I often help my parentswith the housework. I clean the house, wash clothes and learn tocook. During the summer or winter vacation, I have enough time todo things like volunteering. I help those people who are in need.Its a good experience for me. I enjoy myself in my sparetime.
