How to be a Successful Person

A good goal is a prerequisite of success. Without a goal, people do not know how to improve themselves and the success will be far from you. So we should have a clear goal in life and cling to it in order to be a success.

Indeed, everyone is familiar with the old saying: Living without an aim likes sailing without a compass. A clear and long term goal is the driving force and beacon light for one to make great achievements, for it can help us to hold on to the right direction, give us hope and encourage us to go forward bravely. Even if we are in frustration, we can refresh because of existence of the goal. On the contrary, if we have no aim in our life journey, we will lose the right direction and focus. As a result, we may achieve nothing no matter how hard we work.

Just like Langston Hughs, the famous poet, has put it, “Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly”. So let’s set up a goal and stick to the goal so that we can be a successful person.
