英翻汉，常常容易望文生义，翻出来的中文让人读不懂，只好猜。所以将一些常用的英文词汇提出来给大家讨论。试将以下几个英文词汇翻译成为汉语：

1 Navy blue 深蓝色，藏青色，也有人翻译成“海军蓝”，因
英美曾用于海军制服，即a dark greyish blue，也可以简称navy。
2 oriental blue 可以叫“东方蓝”，就是釉里蓝，青花瓷上面
的那种蓝色，而青花瓷就是oriental blue and white。
Navy blue 深蓝色，藏青色
3 midnight blue 也叫深蓝色，或午夜蓝，中灰蓝色，其实就是“蓝黑色”，由蓝色和黑色混合而成，颜色很深，a very dark blue, bluish black。Dark blue，深蓝色，暗青色。浅蓝色，就是淡蓝色，light blue，也可以作pale blue，粉青色，或baby blue，柔和浅蓝色。
4 blue in the face 不能翻译成“蓝色发青”，而应该是“脸色发红”，因为容易被短语in the blue，“心情不好”弄得望文生义。真实含义是extremely exasperated，勃然大怒，怒不可遏。He argued with the boss until he was blue in the face. 他和老板争得面红耳赤。
青花瓷就是oriental blue and white
5 into the blue, out of the blue He shot an arrow into the blue. 居然有翻译成“他把一支箭射向蓝色”。其含义是“无影无踪”，或“不知道去哪里了”，如He takes a trip into the blue. 他跑到不知道什么地方去了。所以，out of the blue也不能翻译成“青出于蓝”，而是“其来源前所未见”，“时间上出人意料”，比如，A new product is unnecessary to be “out-of-the-blue” new. 新产品不一定非得是“前所未见”之新。
