关于定语从句 你一定不知道还可以这样学

之前我们学过名词性从句中的宾语从句。现在我们讲形容词性从句，也叫定语从句。

问题一：什么是定语从句？

如上图所示，用一个句子代替另外一个句子中的定语，就叫做定语从句。

问题二：定语从句的位置在哪里？

由于定语从句是修饰名词或代词，所以放在名词或代词之后。

问题三：定语从句的引导词有哪些？怎样使用？

一、每个引导词在句中的意思为：

其中1、2、4 5的意思=先行词，在从句中充当宾语时能省略。

（1、2、4 ）先行词是人，This is the girl (who /whom/that I met yesterday ) .其中who /whom/that在从句中充当宾语。

（1、4）先行词是人， This is the girl (who/that is from America). 其中who/that 在从句中充当主语。

（4、5） 先行词是物，I like the book (that/which you bought yesterday) 其中that/which 在从句中充当宾语。

其中 3 的意思=先行词+的

先行词是人 This is the book (whose color is yellow )

先行词是物 She is the girl (whose name is Linda)

其中6、7 的意思=在+先行词

先行词是地点 Beijing is the city （where I was born）其中where =在城市。

先行词是时间 I remember the day （when I first met him）其中when=在这天。

其中 8的意思=for+reason

先行词是原因 Can you tell me the reason ( why you lied to me?)其中why=因为这个原因。

二、需要注意事项

只能用that

1、形容词最高级修饰先行词 Tom is the （cleverest） boy （that I have ever known.）

2、序数词修饰先行词 This is the （first） play （that I have seen since I came here.）

3、不定代词修饰先行词 I have read （all ）the books （that you lend me.）

4、不定代词充当先行词 Everything （that we saw in this film） was true.

5、the very / the same / the last / the only 修饰先行词 This is the （very） book （that belongs to him.）

6、who 或which在主句中已经出现，为了不重复出现 Who is the girl （that is standing under the tree?）

7、先行词同时有人和物 I have never heard of the people and things （that you talked about just now.）

只能用whom和which

关系代词前有介词时 .先行词是人，只用whom, 先行词是物，只用which

1、This is the boy （with whom） he talked.

2、This is the ring （on which ）she spent 1000 dollars.

那么这个介词是从哪里来呢？我们把句子还原成

1、This is the boy 【he talked （with whom）】其中talked with 是固定搭配。

2、This is the ring【she spent1000 dollars（on which）】其中spent on 为固定搭配。

where 、when 、why注意事项

1、主句：I still remember the day.

从句：I first met him on the day.=I first met him on which.

合在一起变成I still remember the day on which I first met him.=I still remember the day when I first met him.

2、主句：America is the country.

从句：I was born in the country.=I was born in which

合在一起变成 America is the country in which I was born.=America is the country where I was born.

3、主句：This is the reason.

从句：I was late for school for this reason.=I was late for school for which

合在一起变成This is the reason for which I was late for school.=This is the reason why I was late for school.
