梅花诗两首（外一联）

庚子年春节前后，华夏蒙难。往年此时春暖花开季节，皆呼朋引伴，外出游玩，踏青赏花，吟诗作对，痛快淋漓，皆为寻常事也。然此时唯有闭门坚守，思外出赏花而不可得，痛悟和平年代之可贵也。因翻检出2019年3月17号所写《北京明城墙遗址公园梅花文化节记》，重读数遍，唏嘘不已。恰逢《海外诗译社》副社长岁月静好女士高义约双语诗稿，故赶在上网课之前将其中数首诗，匆匆译为英文，聊以塞责，不当之处请多多海涵。

《北京明城墙遗址公园梅花文化节记》

己亥年二月十二黄昏时分，北京明城墙遗址公园访梅，自东南角楼顺古城墙向西步行三里左右至崇文门，一路只见残破的古城墙衬托着各色鲜嫩梅花，飘香怒放，争奇斗艳，美不胜收，端的是心旷神怡，得意洋洋。

只是突然想起莎士比亚的十四行诗第18首里所说好花不常开，好景不长在的诗怨，心中若有所失，徘徊良久，苦吟两首。

因觉哀伤太过，意犹未足，遂又戏题北京明城墙遗址公园梅花楹联一副。遂大笑而归。

梅影

晚花照夕阳，颓墙飘暗香。

怜影不知归，花落独自觞。

The Shadow of Plum Blossoms

The plum blossoms are in bloom in the twilight，

The wind of intoxicating fragrance over the old city is blowing，

Some fading flowers are scattering and flying around like snow flakes,

I feel sad, lonely lingering.

问梅

懒求功名百事哀，杖藜携酒访梅来。

悠悠心随古城远，寂寂坐看疏影呆。

香幽月下同谁诉? 枝斜夕阳缘何栽?

嚼芳苦吟诗数句，把酒酹花暂开怀。

Asking Plum Blossoms

Living a lazy life, I no longer strove for life, so things became worse.

With a crutch and some wine, I came all the way to visit the plum blossoms.

With the old city walls , my heart went back to the good old days,

Gawking at the shadow of it, I was carried away.

I smelled the sweet smell under the moon, under the tree, in the twilight, in wonder,

For whom these trees were planted? To whom I can tell my story ?

I was deep in thought, trying to compose a poem,

Finishing writing, I took out the wine cup, and drank together with the spirit of the plum blossom.

颓城古墙，历尽几度沧桑?

红香白玉，演出数日幻境!

An Couplet for Plum Blossoms

How many soul-stirring events of wars, lovers

Have taken place on the edge of this good old city wall ?

With the fat white flowers, the thin red flowers

The place has become several days of fairyland for us all.
