The Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth monthaccording to the Chinese calendar.People always eat rice dumplings and watchdragon boat races to celebrate it.

端午节是中国阴历的五月五日。人们总是吃粽子和赛龙舟来庆祝它。

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races,especially in thesouthern places where there are many rivers and lakes. It is very popular.

这个节日最出名的是龙舟赛，特别是在有着充足的河流和湖泊的南方。真的是很受欢迎的。

The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice,meat and so on. You can eatdifferent kinds of rice dumplings. They are very delicious.

And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who issaid to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river.
