Many people think cheap air travel should be encouraged because it gives ordinary people freedom to travel further. However, others think this leads to environmental problem, so air travel should be more expensive in order to discourage people from having it. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
很多人认为廉价航空应该被鼓励，因为它给普通人提供了出行的自由。然而，有些人却认为廉价航空会造成环境问题，所以飞机旅行应该更加昂贵。讨论双方观点并且给出你自己的意见。

这道题目是双边式议论文，正方的观点是：廉价航空应该被鼓励，反方的观点是：廉价航空应该被阻止；同时题目中给了限定范围：“给了普通人出行的自由”和“环境问题”，建议讨论时最好围绕限定范围展开，正方的应该被鼓励可以就“为什么给了普通人出行的自由”来展开，反方的应该被阻止可以围绕“为什么会造成环境问题”来讨论。否则算跑题，而跑题的文章一般很难超过6分。

Looking back at the history of human beings, we can easily find that every transport technological breakthrough, such as steam trains, or motor cars, or even wheels, gave a great push on economic development and ushered in a whole new era. Certainly the airplane is no exception and generally considered as one of the most significant invention in the last century. In many countries, ordinary people can afford overseas flights.
回顾人类的历史，我们很容易发现每一次交通技术的突破，比如蒸汽火车，汽车，甚至是轮子，都极大地推动了经济的发展，开启了全新的时代。飞机当然也不例外，它被视作上个世纪最伟大的发明。在很多国家，普通人也能承担起海外航班的价格。

Cheaper air travel has made a significant difference to human life. Air travel may be the only and easiest option when it comes to long-distance trips because no other vehicle can travel as fast as an airplane. For example, if students from China wish to go to Britain for further studies, the optimal means of transportation that could send them to the destination is undoubtedly the plane. Also, for people traveling on a regular basis, such as those engaged in transnational business, air travel would mean less time on the road. This will certainly enable them to better prepare for their future tasks, such as business negotiations, both physically and mentally. In addition, air travel offers the comfort that cannot be found elsewhere. Most people, who have the experience of traveling by air, are bound to miss the snacks and drinks served on board, as well as the smiles on the faces of flight attendants. In some cases, one could even enjoy a favorite movie while on a plane, completely unaware that he or she is hundreds of thousands of feet above ground.
廉价航空对人类的生活影响很大。坐飞机可能是长途旅行的唯一最佳选择，因为没有其他交通工具比飞机更快。如果中国的学生想去英国留学，能把TA送到目的地的最佳交通工具无疑是飞机。对于定期出行的人，例如从事跨国贸易的人而言，坐飞机意味着会在路上少花一些时间。这样他们就可以更好地为自己的商务谈判做准备，无论是在身体上还是精神上。此外，飞机的舒适度也是其他交通工具无法比拟的。只要做过飞机的人，大多数都肯定会怀念飞机上提供的小吃和饮品，以及空乘脸上的微笑。有些时候，人们还可以看一场自己最爱的电影，根本没有意识到自己在几千米的高空上。

However, there are some dissenting voices aboutinexpensive air travel. Environmental conservationistsremind us that airplanes contribute to much more air pollution and emit more exhaust fumes than cars, deteriorating the current global warming and energy crisis. Pessimistic attitude is also presented in the aviation sector, including noise pollution andthe environmental destruction caused by the construction of airports and other facilities.
然而有些人对廉价航空持反对的意见。环保主义者提醒我们飞机比汽车污染更严重，排放更多废气，也会让全球变暖和能源危机的问题更加严重。还有人对航空业持悲观态度，因为修建机场和其他相关设施会带来噪音的污染和环境的破坏。

Overall, cheap airlines can benefit the public considerably, so it would be wrong to impose restrictions on air travel despite its negative implications for the environment. Air companies can turn to technological innovations as part of the effort to reduce the strain of the whole industry on the environment.
总之，廉价航空让大众获益良多，所以尽管它对环境可能会有消极的影响，我们也不应该对它实施限制。航空公司应该通过技术的革新来减少航空业对环境造成的压力。
