教学目标:

知识目标:learning to ask time. Can read the sentences: they sit around tables . We sit in lines. They sing songs every morning. We do morning exercises.

能力目标:can say the difference between school in England and china.

情感目标:the students will have the happy feeling about their school.

教学重点:

three phrases:sit around tables 、sit in lines、do morning exercises。

教学难点:

the differences between schools of China and England.

教学准备:

PPT课件、word cards 、flags of China and England 、picture 、tape、stickers

教学过程:

一、热身环节-warming up

Let’s look to the screen .when it is 1 o’clock, let’s begin our class. Ok? Look at the screen , let the students to say the time.

When they say 1 o’clock, the teacher call out: “class begins.” “Hello, boys and girls. How are you? I am fine, thank you.”

二、内容呈现-presentation

I am glad to come to your school. Your school is very beautiful and big .

Do you know which school do I come from? I come from Dalian Dandong Primary School. Do you want to have a look? Now let us look at the photos.

This is my school. We always play volleyball. But this is not my school. These are school in England sent by Lingling. Do you want to know the school in England? Ok, today let’s learn Module 8 Unit 1.

三、任务教学-text teaching

1. Now look, this is a table. This is sit around tables. Then read the phrases. Point to one group ,“can you sit around tables?” now let us sit around tables.

2. So now you are “sit in lines”。 Look at my cards. And read the words by girls ,boys or read this one by one.

3. The students who sit around tables , you are England group. The students who sit in lines , you are china group . Give each group a flag.

4. England group can you sing songs? Now let us sing.

5. China group can you morning exercises? Look at my cards. And read the word in part, in pairs or in groups or by pointing to them. Then do actions and read the word.

6. Show students the letter , and say that this is the letter sent by Lingling. Do you want to have a look? Look at the screen.

7. when read the text , find students to translate .

8. This time listen to the tape and repeat.

9. This time the teacher read the text and the students fill the blank.

10. This time the England group read England part, china group read china part.

11. Find two students to put the pictures under the flags. And two students put the sentences next to the picture.

四、强化巩固-consolidation

1. find students to come to the front point to the sentences and say “ hello, china England group.”

2. Discuss in groups, then find friend in another groups or teachers.

五、任务导入-Practice

1. Let us do some exercises on your activity book on page 30. Pay attention on England and English or china or Chinese. Then check the answer.

2. Do a small test.

六、本课小结-summer up

Boys and girls today we have learned the differences between school in China and school in England .We can see that:
